![]() ![]() Should I switch for China? What is the best practice? ![]() When do you generally switch engines or other parts on the car? Used about 20% of the engine during the first weekend. Finished 7th in Australia which I felt good about since it was raining during the race, but not during practice. ![]() Just bought this game on sale and started a career this weekend. I have some relatives involved with NHRA, so I've watched it a bit and NASCAR.but F1 is a completely different level. I did watch the Brazilian Grand Prix and have been lapping up historical stuff on the F1 Youtube channel. (Just can't compete with the Farraris and Mercedes) I generally qualify higher than I "should" then end up dropping back during the race. Thanks! When I've done qualifying, I've just been doing Flying laps.should I be doing "drive out" for some reason instead? I've actually been doing all right during Qualifying. And the game has helped connect me even more. I've just got into the sport in the last few years and is it's a must watch. That should help you get out into Q finish a good Q lap and get back to pits without running out of fuel.įeel free to PM if you have questions. This is called your "IN LAP" and moving it back to lean will keep you from running out of fuel. Once you finish those MAX fuel laps move it back to lean as you finish that last lap before you return to the pits. You'll usually only get one maybe two laps on this setting. This will allow for your car to reach max speed. This is called your "OUT LAP." Youll be at a less speed but be able to save fuel for your true Qualifying Laps which are called "FLYING LAPS." Once I come around the last 1 or 2 turns I move my fuel mix back to MAX. Another tip to consider is when you are doing qualifying. ![]()
