![]() Thanks for joining me and For The Wild community. I'm constantly inspired by the integrity and love that you carry in everything you do. It is such a pleasure to spend time with you. I am so happy to be sharing this moment with you Lyla. She spends her free time learning her endangered mother tongue, planting corn, beans and squash, and spending time with elders who retain traditional spiritual and ecological knowledge. She currently lives in Dinétah, the Navajo ancestral homeland, which spans what is now called New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona. Lyla June ultimately attributes any achievements to Creator, who gave her the tools and resources she uses to serve humanity. She is a musician, public speaker and internationally recognized performance poet. In 2012, she graduated with Honors from Stanford University with a degree in Environmental Anthropology. Her personal mission in life is to grow closer to Creator by learning how to love deeper. Lyla June was raised in Taos, New Mexico, and is a descendant of Diné and Cheyenne lineages. Join us as we meditate upon the true spirit of giving back to each other and to the land.
