![]() ![]() Basically what it boiled down to was the Steam version has many more options and tables than the version you can buy through the AtGames Store. He even shows some gameplay of the Zombies game that you can't currently get on the AtGames store. With Steam you can play on a Digital Pinball Cabinet, PC or VR.įor a complete no risk experience of this, just download the free to play version of Zaccaria, set it to cabinet mode and see what you think.įat Old Gamers Video on YouTube The cost is also better to buy through Steam with the 50% deal and with the VR options makes it a better deal through Steam. Somebody's going to come through and say: For $600, you can get yourself a pin cabinet running every cab ever made. com/alppcs.l_Hard ware I actually paid for these tables (the ones I use, anyway), but still did Emporium because the front end was gorgeous and the downloading and mapping of controls turned out to be a breeze. I hate it when the commercial versions of products are distinctly inferior to pirated versions that have a better UI, options, and ease-of-use. If you own an ALP, and you don't play a lot, just buy a full Zacc pack on the next National Owners Day. Hard to beat the ease with which you can play the tables (but you do have to login once per 5 shutdowns, or the purchases don't seem to load properly). Another argument for piracy of the things you already own *shrug*Įven though this deal appears to be a bust and is getting downvotes, I truly posted it to see what kind of feedback I would get and what kind of Slickdealers would chime in and share their pinball knowledge. I have been on the hunt to get a virtual pinball machine purchased and setup. Was thinking the entry level ALP would be a great start. ![]() When I saw how many tables I could get from this Zaccharia deal, I was pretty impressed. Good to know that I should look into Emporium. I have also heard of the front ends of Pinup Popper, PinballX, HyperPin, and PinballY.įrom what I see in the Emporium video you posted, they install FX3 and Zaccaria from Steam, so why would you not buy these tables if you intend to do OTG on the AtGames legend pinball and run fom a PC?ĭisclaimer, I own most of the tables via PC, Switch, and AtGames. ![]() The version on AtGames is the easier version (I think "arcade") in the Steam game. The Steam game provides a boatload of different options for playing, both the playing mode and how the game is displayed light-wise (both table and ambient) and table quality wise (want a brand new look or a worn look). It really is an insane level of modifications at your hands. AtGames is just the table at "arcade" (easy) skill. There is one other difference, the Steam version on the TV feels very distant compared to the overtop view on the AtGames. If you OTG, I'm not certain if you can get the backglass working. If you look 70's / 80's pinball, this is fun stuff. The designs are often a bit different, where trapping balls is harder (other designs are remaps). ![]() Being older tables, the rule sets are simpler and the games don't go as deep. The retro tables are fun as well, designed to drain a bit easier, but still tables that generally can be mastered. The remakes are good (though can get a bit of a drag) and I haven't played the Deluxe too much. I love the tables, and think either Steam or Switch, when on sale, it is a bargain! It like having your own pinball arcade. I found a link to a person who figured out how to setup the backglass on this game. Sounds like the backglass must be your monitor 2 in order to get it to work. ![]()
